Alternatively, just make a version of the file that’s 6-8 hours log and play that every night…
ICE would fucking love this type of escalation.
I guess they don’t know how to use the shells…
So what are they doing now if not agressively revoking visas?!
For the “Midwest”, in my opinion:
So you admit the plot is poorly done and still decided to share it here for some reason?!
I didn’t do that specifically, but one of my grandfathers was an insurance salesman and worked out of a home office before he retired.
He still had all of his things by the time my sister and I would play at their house as kids, and we would spend HOURS playing office. Typing memos to each other, cutting paper, using white out, etc.
You say objectively but really mean subjectively.
I mean, I prefer my Framework running Linux too, but the Apple laptop still has a nicer keyboard and touchpad. I hope I never have to fix my MacBook though…

I haven’t read the Andromeda Strain…I guess I shouldn’t?
I actually enjoyed 90% of Sphere, but then the ending just…killed it. Like, it comes off as if he just got sick of writing the story despite not having a way to end it.
The Sphere. I’ve never hated the ending to a book more.
The only thing worse than a bad joke is no joke at all.
The larger one looks like two overlapping footprints.
I feel like cannibalism has to be an intentional act.
Like, I happen to smell other peoples farts, but I’m not a fart sniffer.
I use Bluefin myself, and it’s honestly been game changing. Using an immutable distro has been the greatest quality of life upgrade in my 15 years of using Linux.
Also, if you use distrobox (automatically installed with Bluefin, Aurora, Bazzite, etc.) you can even setup an Arch container and continue to use the AUR. I use Steam installed from within an Arch container and it doesn’t feel any different from a natively installed app. It also means I don’t have to use the Steam flatpak which I had a couple issues with.
I’d guess it’s not as bad as it is in CA, but this is starting to happen in my neighborhood in Portland, OR.
Houses are getting more expensive, so sellers are getting more and more offers from wealthy investors buying them to rent them out. Since people can’t afford a home, they go ahead and rent the house (at least around us).
Its a bummer because the rent continually increases, so folks typically cannot stay there for too many years. For the renters, the rent is around what a mortgage payment would be at current interest rates, so they’re not saving a lot of money.
The house across the street was sold when mortgage rates were ~3%, so the owners are making a good amount on the house. I just happen to hate that it’s ruining our neighborhood, and I’d like more families with kids to move on to our street.
