What did you find you either liked or disliked about the GTK + Python combo for building this?

If you don’t want to go the Emacs or Vim routes, try Kate. Neovim is amazing but Kate is too from what I hear. Similar support for LSPs.

I’m a fan of CountryCode being a string column that’s a FK to a reference table of Country values.

Same for State/Province.
