I actually don’t think that they do it with the intention that the far right won’t get more votes:

Thanks, I am awarw of that, I also have an rsync job to move the files into my NAS. The deletion is the part that bothers me most, but if you flash the device and the install syncthing with a new identifier that should treat it as a new device.
I use Syncthing to back up my Signal chats and pictures every night with my raspberry Pi. I simply let Signal create a backup at night ans let Syncthing watch the backup folder.
Thank you very much! The question is now only, if I should get the account now and then switch in October over.
Can someone tell me how the aliases exactly work? I am currently at proton but plan to move as soon as my subscription ends. I have quite a lot of aloases like example+alias1@my.domain
and example+alias2@my.domain
while having just example@my.domain
taking a slot of the 25 custom addressss I can register with proton. Just want to know how easy it is to migrate or if I have to change email adresses that I’ve already used. I’ve read that they also support catch all, so maybe that’s enough.
You’re welcome, happy that I can help. I also just updated it a bit. In case you find any issues or have questions please let me know. It was mostly trial and error until it ran…
It’s a steep learning curve for sure but once you get the basics it’s straight forward until you hit very specific problems.
Are you a Windows or Linux user? They often want to push their Docker UI application but in my opinion docker engine with docker compose is enough. There are probably a lot of great tutorials out there and I can recommend https://www.linuxserver.io/ for images.
https://codeberg.org/skjalli/jellyfin-vps-setup here you go, took me longer than expected and I hope it’s helpful, might contain a few errors since I had to remove some settings but I guess this should work.

It’s a separate container, currently in the process of writing everything up, will update once done
I am currently in the ptocess to document my docker fioes and upload them to codeberg with a readme, it takes a bit, will let you know once I am done
Will share this evening after work.
My setup: Locally (all in docker):
VPS (Oracle Cloud free tier, also everything in docker):
Usernames are not shown in the frontend and have to be entered. Passwords are generated by a password manager and can’t be changed by the user.
So my clients just get the URL of my reverse proxy and can access the read only JF through my Wireguard tunnel. Didn’t have to open any ports on my side. If someone is interested I can share the docker compose files later.
Edit: Here the link to the setup description. Please tell me if something is not clear or you find an error. https://codeberg.org/skjalli/jellyfin-vps-setup
My Proton account still runs til November (it’s cancelled) this year, would be nice to subscribe to Tuta and activate it starting October so I cpuld move stuff. Guess I have to hope for other deals in the future
Thank you. Guess I have to rewatch it.
Thank you kind stranger!
What’s the source of the gif?
Are you aware of findroid? It’s an android app that also lets you download the series and watch it in offline mode like other streaming services. Maybe this is an option.
Nicht für die Mods aber eine generelle Frage: seot dem letzten Instanz Prpblem (vor 2? Wochen) habe ich Probleme mit Voyager. Es kommt ständig ‘Could not load media’ wovon v.A.
