I’m a borderlands fan, and I will say that the first one is a little meh. The second one is where it’s all, although it may feel a little date now. The presequal and 3 are fun but they fell a little lacking

Point I’m trying to make, if 1 felt fun but a little meh, I would recommend playing 2.

I feel like community is the only show to do it right. The product placement wasn’t subtle, they didn’t try to hide it from you. They incorporated it into the story, and anything that was an “ad read” came from subway itself, not any of the characters. They even allow for some nice tongue in cheek jokes about the product placement in future episodes as well.

Of course I’d rather not have any product placement, but if you’re gonna do it, it should be like that.

I think the difference here, is that you’re not talking about a collective, but instead two different individuals. I agree with OP on this one, and I think “guys” can refer to a collective of humans.

Is it right? Probably not. Do I think of just a bunch of men when someone says “come on guys”? Not really.
