  • Therapy really doesnt help. For some people it can be amazing, but it just won’t work for everyone and that is ok.

For me personally, I’m just too different from how the therapists wanted me to be (I know this sounds weird, I will explain). They (plural, I’ve seen multiple) would try to convince me I can and do experience things that “are normal human feelings that everyone experiences”, and didn’t seem to be able to understand the things I was telling them I actually experience. They could not understand that I simply do not think in any conventional manner and do not have the same thoughts other people do. And I am not saying “Oh I think differently I am such an intellectual, infinitely superior to mere mortals”. There are a lot of things my brain cannot do at all, I will never be able to drive a car, and can’t follow cooking recipies very well. They all had the same mindset, that somewhere in my brain the things they were looking for existed. I am lucky that I never had any serious mental health issues, I only wanted to go to ensure that I wouldn’t have an issue in the future, since I am more likely to experience them, due to being significantly disabled

  • Barn cats are actually pretty important. rodents can be terrible, and spread disease due to the conditions they often live in. Cats help with snakes and certain bugs as well (larger bugs they can swat at. Usually just kill them and play with them, but I’ve seen cats eat them too)

But is still absolutely essential to spay/neuter barn cats, and provide them with safe places to get away from coyotes. Spay/neuter is to prevent them from making more cats, which can quickly get out of hand. For getting away from coyotes, raised areas they can quickly climb to are good. Yes coyotes can jump, but I’ve never seen a coyote climb. Their front legs just dont bend the right way to let them grab the tree

  • I simply enjoy mythology and want to read something that hasn’t been filled with the biases of the translators. Modern christians actually believe a lot of things that are wildly different from what they used to mean. If I believed Christianity was real, Lucifer would absolutely love modern christians.

As other people have informed me, the bible is really just not easy to translate like that. It’s just an amalgamation of so many different things. While possible, it doesnt seem feasible.

I’ll go learn more about the native americans instead as they have some very diverse beliefs and cool myths. I dont know much about them yet, so its a good option

  • Almost. Tinnitus is constant ear ringing. Like a high pitched, constant noise. It does vary in intensity in people who have it though and is not always noticeable. (I don’t have tinnitus, so may not be 100% accurate)

When your brain can’t filter out sounds, that is one of the side effects of audio processing disorder. Probably a lot of other things that cause it too. Audio processing disorder is exactly what it sounds like. You can hear, but its hard to understand. Can’t filter sounds (you hear all sounds at their actual volume). Sometimes causes people to think I am hearing impaired. Frequently causes me to mishear things as completely different, unrelated sounds. Many people also have difficulty determining which direction noises come from, although I haven’t personally experienced this
