  • The DNC and the neo-liberals are never going to bend the knee to Zohran. They will either vote for Adams or Cuomo running as an independent. I will wait for them to pull something, including a gun on him.

On the flip side, I hope Zohran, if elected, doesn’t abandon his principals and turn into another fake progressive like AOC, who talks a big game and then votes for genocide and sheep-herds into voting for the neo-liberal candidate.

In response, Stein wrote on X: “Well @AOC, you supporting genocide was NOT on my bingo card, but the Democrats have a way of changing people who say they’re going to ‘change the party from the inside’”. - Jill Stein

  • It is an alternative to Youtube built on blockchain technology with no censorship, although users can be de-listed for extremes like child porn, etc. It also monetizes much like Youtube for content creators. I highly support efforts like this. I used it on Linux under Odysee. Youtube is complete censorship, even today content creators have to dance around anything to do with main topics like Covid, Israel and such, for risk of de-monetization or worse, a complete take-down.

The downside to LBRY/Odysee is that the videos/links are not found on search engines, so bad for creators. With no censorship, brings the wild-wild-west, with rumors of neo-nazi content, and such. Still, imo, I would rather filter through that stuff than have a corporation/gov’t tell me what I can and can’t view.

  • If you want the cheapest, no frills, secure (read their security policy) email host with calendar, contacts, tasks via caldav/cardav sync (thunderbird) then Purelymail is a great option. I have used them for years, no down times, great support, bring your own domain if you like. The only downside for some, it is based in the US. I am willing to overlook the US for a host that is $10 a year (can’t afford the others.)

If you worried about security, I would start thinking about transitioning off of Apple/MacOS and try out linux. Linux can run on your Apple computer. I assume you probably have an iPhone. I would suggest getting an Android phone (Pixels are great) and downloading an Android Privacy supported rom, like CalyxOS, which is de-googled completely, highly secure. There is also GrapheneOS and others, which support more phone manufacturers.
