I am currently going through the old Lucas Arts adventure games. I just finished Sam and Max Hit The Road and I’ll be either doing Full Throttle or Monkey Island next.

Ooh! Thank you, friend! Think I’ll take a crack at this soon then!

My original Steam Controller is still kicking, but the thumb stick pad has eroded away. Really want to replace the stick if I can 😓

100% get that it’s a niche controller, but I am that target market. I play a ton of strategy and old point and click games from my couch because I hate sitting at a desk, and crazy enough I still have the original steam controller for that reason. Honestly the price point it’s at and the feature set it has are entirely justifiable for me. Even though I don’t play a ton of shooters, the gyro on it is a must for me since I can’t do basic stick aiming. Just with the old Steam Controller, and even the Steam Deck, it’s not gonna be for everyone, but this is like a dream come true for me. And I’m not opposed to cheaper options as well, wife has an 8bitdo that does feel fantastic for the value too.

For its feature set, nah feels fine. I’ll likely preorder it. Still cheaper than pro controllers, but has all the inputs I’d expect from those, and more.
The touch pads, they are like highly programmable laptop touchpads, and then left and right triggers for mouse clicks. There’s a ton of custom configs people have already made for games like these, so the controller buttons get mapped to various keyboard shortcuts for you. If you’re into these types of games, or even strategy games, this thing has been a powerhouse for me in that regard. Ps, getting Steam controller day 1 for the same reason, so then I can play these games on my living room tv no problem.
