Noted, will check. Curious if RA updates the folders if one changes the steiings or if it only applies to new saves.

Fully agree. Just not sure how much benefit a debloated Custom ROM is vs. a debloated stock Android (let alone oneUI etc). GrapheneOS seems to be the only good way to go.
Apart from GrapheneOS, all other android ROMs are less degoogled than you think, as confirmed by many security researchers. For less techy people the order to degoogle is:
Syncing the save folder works via various options. Not sure how to sync the history though. I would like to have the “recently played” section also sync and show across devices.
Noted, sounds like a nice project. I do not need to have syncing a working all the time, hence any delays are not an issue. Usually, I play offline when traveling and sync to other devices when at home. In such cases, I need to manually select the save file, instead of picking up in the “recently played” section.
I know, and they are both not fully degoogled. Kuketz blog (German)
See the link for a very detailed analysis of Custom ROMs. Maybe it is understandable with machine translation.
Just depends on Google instead of degoogling like GrapheneOS
It just does not take advantage of cameras with several lenses & detectors, which is a pity.
Separate songs, sorted into separate folders by albums. No other files, as all metadata is embedded in the files.

New to rockbox. How can I check?
I will play around with different metadata. I have all album art embedded but only some albums show issues, which is why I suspect the resolution. Will keep you informed.
DOOM: Am I nothing to you?
Will do, thanks!
Good point 😄 Want to get the full impression.
Heard that so often, but cannot relate. Coming from the NES, SNES, GBA games, I cannot see why this game was so popular. Currently playing it on 3DS, but need to force myself at times…
*what you have NOT done.
Fixed that for you 😉
This means there is still time for data hoarders to react?
I have manually moved the save file from RA(Android) - SRM format - to R36S. As R36S does it, I put the ROM and .SRM files into the same folder. ArkOS/R36S does not recognize the .srm file (even if renamed .state). For other games, R36S saves .state/.state1… files. I compared the Retroarch settings on both devices - literally the same, except for the save location. I have not found any option to select between .srm and .state format. For saving, I always save manually from Reetroarch quick menu, hence the .SRM on Android are not “standard SRAM” game saves. Frustrating in migrating devices.
