And whilst high quality, they are only available from one supplier at stupid prices.
Thankfully they’re just starting a 3 year swap over to dark blue.

@p03locke @shalafi i have a primary email that uses a TLD released in 2014. I use it for any mails that aren’t e.g. government or financial. The number of systems/servers/transports that haven’t been updated to accept it is quite an annoyance.
I avoid email anyway.

@SLVRDRGN @TokenEffort I feel the same when handed an iThing these days. I don’t think it helps that the ones I’m handed have had everything on them moved around and whatnot by children.

@IrateAnteater @yesman if they do the “show secret” or whatever the option is called when your 2FA setup shows a QR code then you can copy that plain-text and save it somewhere (safe!) to just plumb it in to whatever authenticator app you decide to use elsewhere.
If you use something like BitWarden then it can generate those 2FA codes for you and sync between whichever devices you use.

@Gorgritch_umie_killa that’s a bit confusing in that it talks about #Aldi leading the reduction rate, then plateauing. Surely that indicates they went hard on reducing and now they’ve slowed because there’s not much fat left to trim? Or am I misunderstanding it.

@stetech @Xraygoggles yes if you’re able to either configure your router to tell tge tv to use it (DHCP), or you can set your TV’s network settings directly. adguard probably have guides on how to do it

@Gorgritch_umie_killa What’s the ROI on batteries these days? When I’ve done the maths in the past it just wasn’t worth it. A 10 year loan sounds like you’d just finish paying for it when it needs replacement?
