From another article, this seems to be what happened. The cart was purchased via FB Marketplace from somebody who had also cloned it to a multi-cart. Detection likely occurred due to the same cart ID showing active at two places.
Banff definitely. There’s a bunch of booths as you enter where you need to get a pass for your vehicle (or did in previous years anyhow).
I’ve been migrating to Soverin and like it thus far. I’ve only done email and my calendaring though.
It’s not free but it’s also not overly costly.
It’s cool that you were invited. Also ironic that you chose to make the “politics” community here all about USA and now level accusations of gatekeepering?
Maybe it doesn’t feel like a big deal to you, but I think it’s reasonable for Canadians to feel concerned that foreign content/news tends to overshadow our own, especially given how the USGov is treating foreign relations these days.
American corps already run a lot of news outlets here, dominate the entertainment industry, and have no qualms about throwing their weight around. Lemmy was looking like a place for other countries such a Canada to maybe have a bit of space for our own news and content while still being connected to the world, but it didn’t take long for feeds to be overwhelmed here too.
A little room to breathe or at least maybe some consideration of where this community “lives” doesn’t feel like a lot to ask. If you consider that a “diatribe” and want to toss your weight around that’s not much I can do to stop you, but it also kinda proves my point.
Correction, Canadian instance.
sh.itjust.works is Canadian.
So I guess a better question might be: why did you join a Canadian instance to create a generically named community about American politics?
Did you think “gee, sh.itjustworks is a funny name, I’m going to sign up there”, was it more a land-grab for a high-level keyword “politics” as a community, instead of creating it as “uspolitics” or “americanpolitics”. Or maybe you just assumed American politics were the one that mattered most, even on a non-American instance?
Whatever your reasoning, now Canadians who signed up for this Canadian instance see your American news in their feed under the “politics” heading. It’s not even “American politics relevant to Canadians”
Not really a great look.
Did you look at where you are?
It’s a Canadian community instance, and the article is from the BBC. Guess what the first B stands for the (hint: not America, and neither is this a “US based community”)
I totally know kids who would say this. Acceptance and a minor burn all in one statement
See what they need is a bard who raps. A bit if speed-rap and they’d be throwing out deadly cantrips like a human machine-gun
I very much assumed the little girl was dead, either by her mother’s hand or after being abandoned. So glad I’m wrong
IMO there’s nothing wrong with both.
When I think herbivore cows are pretty high in the list, but I’ve seen more than one video of a cow eating a chick along with her diet of grass
Hoping this includes a PC release that isn’t a year+ behind consoles
Was on a thread that caught onto the post history of one user going from being a teacher, to 18, to a girl with period issues, to a guy with a “child from an ex he just found out about”
The user had a post history going back like a decade and it seemed to be just a chain of made up identities, but no political stuff so not necessarily a psyop etc
You can fit an awful lot of Perl into one line too if you minimize it. It’ll be completely unreadable to most anyone, but it’ll run
I didn’t actually know the server code was published. It’d be cool if the client allowed multiple servers so you could talk to people on the “normal” master while also thing a private instance
I think it swallowed rather than spat it this case
I still want the trees outdoors, but this would be cool for indoor spaces. Each mall or parking lot could have a solar panel overhead and slime-tanks to produce useful byproducts.
Maybe it could be mixed with and aquaculture like fish and sea plants to create cool scenery
TV Broadcasters: “oh, so you want more shitty ‘reality TV’ then?”
Yeah I’d say capitalism ruined the Internet, rather than the other way around. Early Internet was janky but amazing
