Your combative stance highlights that you are unable to stray from your ideological perspective to admit any fault on the part of the USSR.
The reason that people “only care” about the Molotov Ribbentrop pact is because the USSR colluded with Germany to partition Poland. It was not just a defensive pact.
You have made (or perhaps, copy pasted) a selective list showing Western collusion/cooperation with Nazi Germany while minimizing USSR collusion with the same. This is whataboutism.
The innocent USSR, who had no choice but to partition Poland with Nazi Germany
The USSR definitely put in huge work, but at the end of the day, “Stalingrad” was besieged and close to being finished off, German forces were right outside Moscow, and all of Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltics were occupied (aka the most heavily industrialised areas)
The reality is that without the USA committing significant industrial resources to its allies (particularly the lend lease) and keeping the Western front open, the USSR was a matter of months away from being finished off.
The war was not won by only the efforts of the USA or the USSR.
Hugely disagree. Most people can’t build a tower which stands at all. In fact if they managed, I would say it’s much more “barely standing” than the engineer’s.
Both material factors and load factors are very well explained and grounded, they are not arbitrary. The problem is that they are too technical to explain to a non-engineer.
Who’s charging that? The UN who is giving it as food aid?
She’s obviously such a sociopath that she generally only sees the positives of firing people
200 tons is less than I would have expected honestly.
Hearing people younger than me talk about how their bodies are falling apart is surreal. I do basically the bare minimum in terms of nutrition, exercise a bit daily, and I feel basically the same as I did in my 20s. Maybe better even because I’m not underweight.
It’s a trope in detective shows/movies where they reach a dead end, get frustrated and flip the table. When they calm down they look at the pile of now rearranged evidence, and because of this new pattern, realise a new connection to investigate.
Just a reminder that Reddit was once difficult for people to understand.
To be honest though, I’m a bit disappointed by the other users here. The quality of comments is really poor, both idiotic and adversarial. I’m talking fox news comment section level.
Ok.
The point is that you are interfering with someone else’s work by doing this. It is fundamentally disrespectful.
The biggest factor is that the cost of labour is extremely low. If the machinery costs €200 in fuel a day, you could instead pay 40 people in these rural and impoverished areas.
Digger plus a tank of petrol a day is absolutely feasible no matter where you are in the world. There is no “less developed” area that they don’t have this. Everywhere has cars, everywhere has petrol powered boats and generators.
Driving heavy equipment on sand is not that risky. We’re talking a single digger here, not a 1000t mobile crane.
Message people in your field on LinkedIn who may have a possibility of hiring you. Applying for job postings does approximately nothing.
Ireland is a poor choice because of English speaking immigrants flooding in. You will immediately be thrown into the shittiest housing market in Europe while also dealing with the most underdeveloped transport system of any European capital. The country has seen population growth far in excess of what the government was able to handle. There is not one efficient state service other than taxation and the passport office. Investment in ETFs is effectively banned. The weather is also shit.
You need to be much more specific. You need to say what your exact job will be and have a solid reason as to why the European company couldn’t hire a European to do it. This isn’t a choice thing, this is a legal requirement to get a work visa. You need a real qualification.
It’s important to be wary of misinformation with generative cocaine
There is a serious risk that companies will try to replace workers with cocaine.
