I appreciate that there’s probably some truth to the idea behind this site, but this is just insulting:
Visit once a week for a stress-free life.
Pretty darn adorable! Always enjoy this sort of news.
Anything that has to leave your home network to operate will eventually either become paid or wither away. Self hosting is seemingly the only route left to take if you don’t want to eventually be shafted.
The April Fools return date has me skeptical.
I remember doing something similar way back in the day where you could run a whole Linux distribution on top of Android. I think by chrooting?
Or if you were like me and just wanted to see what would happen when you turned on every cheat at once, including games that don’t have them using GameShark.
I didn’t understand how it worked at first and was worried the GameShark was going to brick my PlayStation one day because it made some of my games crash.
Does your BAL stay low too? That would be a fun trick to pull if you enjoyed it to go drinking with friends just to remain DD.
There used to be an r/inmice and there were a few dozen massive breakthroughs a year, but all were in mice.
I don’t condone we do this level of testing on humans without all the research that goes into mice, but how funny would it be if we find a way to breed super-intelligent, anti-cancer, anti-aging, super-fertile (and never bald) mice only for them to take over and consume all resources (and us) before we can apply the same science to ourselves? It would be the most unexpected apocalypse.
That’s what they post on social media all the time, but behind the scenes, she blows up every time he wants to try anything.
I’m honestly at a point where most of my tech problems are software and quality problems. My last PC build is coming up on 4 years and it still handles 4k just fine, even on new releases. I spent about $1500 when it was new, so it’s not like I overbuilt either.
From my perspective, we’re already past the point of diminishing returns. Our next major processing break won’t be making faster x86 processors.
I kinda miss when memes were mostly just this.
Dang it I got rickrolled again?!
Alexa Plus is ambitious but unfinished
So it’s in direct competition with there rest of the market 👍
AI is just like any other tool. You wouldn’t want to use a hammer for a screw. For me, it’s the tool I reach for if no other tool can reasonably do the job or if it specifically does not require precision. It throws me off the way people started treating AI like it’s a replacement for the tools it emulates.
