Oh God. I was a hardcore Harry Potter fan as a kid. Read all the books. I’m embarrassed to say that I spent far too much time in the “separate the artist from the art” camp, but I was just woefully uninformed as to what she was and is still doing with her money. In today’s political climate, it feels like she’s doing more than just picking on trans kids; she’s declaring who her ideological friends are. She’s broadcasting to the world what side she’s on.
