I think it is a pelvis on the left as others have said. I have to admit though I thought I was looking at two skulls, probably because I was biased to look from left to right so I just accepted the left one as a skull and then the right skull actually looks like a skull. My guess is that in some form they track contacts and link clicks. I genuinely don’t think they’re reading messages, but I think they do know eg that Bob is someone that likes to send people links and that there are 5 people that always open those links. So they may have directed model of linked topics between people.

Even if this isn’t true though, owning WhatsApp probably gives Meta a lot of culture impact in a similar way to Google and Gmail. The fact that they could create their Meta AI model and put it in front of like a billion people overnight won’t be lost on shareholders.

UK kids in the early 2000s also had “Dick and Dom in da Bungalow”. Basically two comedians doing funny shit to entertain kids for hours every Saturday morning. They had a game called “Bogies” which was just about the two of them going to a calm place like a library or a restaurant and seeing who could muster the courage to shout “bogies” the loudest. My perspective may be off but is €150000 a lot? I’d be curious to know if they donated anything to other similar Democrat events (and in other countries). I’d be more sceptical seeing Spotify donate to Trump’s actual campaign, but donating to the inauguration of a democraticly elected president doesn’t seem insane to me, even if the president is as awful as Trump.

Thanks for sharing. You’re definitely right about the divide. I just found that I had so much time I could do everything I needed and wanted to do (granted, within the confines of social distancing at the time). Housework was joyful because I could do a good job of it, and have time for hobbies, and have time to relax from both. Aside from all the suffering and madness in the world at the time, it was a genuinely satisfying experience at home.

I noticed over covid that many people were telling me that they were happy to be working again after being furloughed (temporarily paused employment in the UK) because they’d been losing their minds with nothing to do. I couldn’t understand it, I was busy and really happy.

Maybe I’m crazy as well but 10kW doesn’t seem like a huge deal to me either? Why do I need a battery for that? I’m in the UK and my shower draws 10kW all by its little self.

This looks brilliant in a lot of ways. For me being able to set a precise temperature would be incredible. I have some doubts about the battery system though. I can understand the utility but surely it will degrade over time? I can’t see how it’s the last stove top I’ll ever need. The battery combined with the software update thing makes it feel like another product I’ll have to rebuy every 3 years or so.
