Garage is great. I use it in a multi region cluster, mostly just for storing backups. Haven’t really had any issues with it yet.

There are a lot of options that aren’t nix. Ansible, chef, puppet, salt, etc. Basically any config management solution.

If it makes you feel better, I’ve dealt with so many servers where someone ran chmod -R 777 / thinking it’d solve all of their permission issues.

That sounds terrible. Also a lot of games use the gpu so you probably don’t want to share it with mining at the same time

I mostly still use openwebui, but SillyTavern is pretty powerful too.

If you’re wanting to view the rendered page, then you’re looking for a browser. Even if whatever you use doesn’t support something like javascript, it’d probably still be considered a browser?

If you don’t care about all the styling, there are tools to extract the main content and convert it to markdown.

Look at tools like kopia and restic. Depending on how much data you have, it should be relatively cheap to back up to backblaze b2.

Have you compared authentik to authelia by any chance? I use authentik but don’t think I’ve ever tried authelia. I did use keycloak for a bit too.

Are you saying you can import chat history with a bridge some how? I don’t remember that being an issue, but would be very handy

I’d also recommend Authentik. It’s simpler than something like keycloak imo and works pretty well. They also have guides for quite a few self hosted services.

I did have issues with it being slow at some point, but an update fixed it iirc.

I think something else may be wrong if it breaks for 20 minutes. How long does it take for compose to bring the stack up?

Also assuming you run ntpd or chrony, it should always keep your clock in sync.
