The next level i kinda wish it had (because it already has about everything else) would be to have the phone screen shown in the desktop.

This is about the quick settings. But now I can’t find mentions about the brightness slider…maybe that wasn’t added?
I use my Xiaomi inflator on my Honda motorbike. Can be used in motorcycles, bicycles, it has an setting/adapter for basketball/football balls, and in theory it can go for car tires too, although i reckon it would take forever. And it IS noisy, yeah. Bought it about 4 years ago, still trucking like the first, and had saved me having a flat on the road, being able to pump to ride to a safe location to get it sorted.
I think they were about to address this once the full android update was released… I think the brightness and the control switches was going to be one of the big things refreshed? And they were delaying the full release because of the whole Pixel drivers enshittification by Google.
Just like the reddit user mentioned, you can only be a free EU citizen under Google TOS.
Yeah I also just go Lutris for all my non steam games.
Yeah…with any of these work profiles, I’m afraid there’s no easy way to transfer them or back them up.
Use insular or shelter. Island is not on fdroid for a reason, i guess.

How do you go from an article about spyware on PHONES to recommend a LAPTOP? They are not the same thing. Do you carry this laptop in your pocket to receive phone calls and whatsapp your contacts?
Interestingly, the same mentioned article from Android Police sells it as a “privacy win”. I’ve tried to read it as a positive spin, and I seriously don’t understand what these guys have been smoking.

Thanks… I had no idea this existed. I can now connect to the work remote desktop software with a single window perfectly integrated. This is incredibly helpful. Moreover I can now say I’m using Winapps in order to run Windows App. I guess now they can rename the remote desktop app again to Winapp to go full circle. Or maybe Winamp, just to confuse people. Or just App, to make it impossible to ever troubleshoot.
EDIT: At any rate, this works really beautifully. It’s a bit of a PITA to set up if you’re having the VM via virt-manager but hell if it’s not as smooth as native.
KDE includes now a default option in their settings to do this. It’s in the Colors & Themes > Night Light menu.
I mean if it’s local network I’d use kde connect. It has a bazillion features, but sending files through the normal share button is one of them.
They didn’t say anything about not removing pixels from the tree, which is what people are complaining about. So yeah, they pretty much did.
Sure… Just the Pixel project is discontinued.
For a first release, it already comes with a bunch of changes. How many people moved to the fork, is it all of the devs there now?
Any recommendations for the contacts app?
Similar idea for Android: TrackerControl.
