I was also thinking of Lenna but seems like it’s not. Do you remember where you saw the image? Some sample image installed?

emacs is great, from your list it can do at least email/file management/file editing/git/piracy/python/web browser
damn, i want debian underwears now
I ran Trisquel 9 on my Dell T3600 desktop for a few years. I never noticed anything malfunctioning, but systemd was annoying so I switched to slackware15. My nvidia kepler gpu worked perfectly, and even my logitech webcam worked.
use your distros method of listing every installed package and modify it to be a install command
shit i can’t unsee this
maybe hyperthreading is disabled on openbsd? or meltdown/spectre mitigation not applied to old tiny10?
mlmym on desktop, voyager on fast phone, boost on slow phone
any distro with lightweight wm would work. I’d try slackware with windowmaker or fvwm.
Alternatively you can try tinycore, it’s supposed to be blazing fast because the whold system runs on ram.
For web browsing try seamonkey with ematrix for blocking stuff.
During 2022~2024 I used a 2008 Macbook with 5400rpm HDD, 2.5GB ram and its CPU throttled to 800mhz on Slackware15 as my primary machine and it was perfectly usable.
I’ll just write down instructions etc on a libreoffice document and put it on the desktop or somewhere easily accessible
if it’s windows i would use rdp over tailscale. don’t expose it to the internet.
still better than showing some crappy virtual keypad
I hope someone makes something like this that looks just like IO1.1
IMO Windows tablets aren’t usually good… I had a terrible experience with my Surface Pro 4 (touch issue, battery swelling, keyboard connection), I’ve heard the recent ones are good enough though.
i guess this wouldn’t work on bsd then :/
oh shit. I used to use this but removed later after realizing it wasn’t open source.
xlibre
lol
I use FireMonkey on firefox. Seems to work better than Stylus/Violentmonkey for me but there’s some compatibility issues with certain scripts.
Sorry if I sounded mean but this is a privacy community and search engine is literally where you go to search for things you don’t know.
I’m not sure about GTK4 but for GTK2 you use ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and for GTK3 ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini
