It’s not popular it’s just another overused bubble fad that will make a select few some money for a while and cost all of us time and energy to avoid or work around for a looooong time.

It sounds like you cherry picked some research that supported the theory you had already decided was the only truth and we’re then upset when people called you out on it.
I have no idea which side of the imaginary fence you have decided you are on but vaccines have been a net positive for the world. Eliminating some pretty horrible diseases for so long people have forgotten how bad they are.
Do some have a reaction to them? Probably, some people have reactions to nuts, shellfish, fabric softener and so on so there are bound to be a small number that have a reaction to it. What science does is try to learn from that and find a way to minimise the risk. Spreading polarised misinformation as fact doesn’t help anyone, there are people a lot smarter than me working their asses off to fix things I will never understand, and I’m fine with that.
They forced something nobody asked for or had a use for beyond the quick what does it do? Then wandered why no one used it? Shocked Pikachu face.
The meta one in WhatsApp, utterly pointless. Copilot non-use to me at all. Gemini has less features than the old Google assistant and is worse in every way at doing the things it does do.
It would be great itlf they’d stop reshaping a working OS around fads.
Tablets went nowhere and left a big scar on Windows and now AI is gonna do the same.
They missed the boat on the one thing that could have made them money, gaming. If they’d put half the effort of this copilot crap into integrating something to compete with steam around that time then things would be very different.
This AI bubble needs to pop. It’s had it’s fun, it has some niches but for day to day usage at work and home it’s of no use to the vast majority of people.
It was all reposts, rehashes and porn anyway wasn’t it?
But will the DLC still work properly if you already have it? Or do we have to buy a switch 2 version of it.
Same for Pokémon or any other games with DLC moving to the switch 2 with or without upgrades.
I am hoping all purchases transfer and work at least as they do now for the switch games.
What’s stopping the key on that cart locking to the account of the first user when you download the game?
Have they said that won’t happen?
NHS = free or subsidised treatment for most things so most people don’t have or need separate health insurance
Workers rights and unions are pretty strong in most industries so while disputes may drag out sometimes it’s better than going in one at a time.
What about the ‘American’ companies that plonked their headquarters in Ireland for tax purposes?
Surely that makes them Irish for tarrif purposes?
Clean yourself up and find a rich spouse?
Win the lottery?
Insurance fraud?
No? I got nothing.
So many firms with different rules, seemingly a law unto themselves. No way to appeal when they know they are already right.
They should not be able to impose the levels of fines they try to now. They should be spot checked from time to time to ensure they have processes in place to deal with people fairly.
Bowtie for the duck. Not for me though.
Birthdays late December/early January suck.
Everyone is busy, everywhere puts the prices up if you do manage to get people together and then there’s the joint Xmas and birthday gifts, ugh.
Anon needs to get out to a all you can eat buffet, eat a good meal go home and sleep it off. Probably won’t land them a partner but they’ll get to try a bunch of foods and have a conversation starter for when they do meet up with someone.
For us no.
For Joe public yes.
It’s all about the numbers, go after a few to scare the masses then give them a safe alternative.
If enshitification comes in to it and it starts to look better to pirate (shows/films disappearing, ads, bloat, needing 15 different subscriptions and so on) then piracy will increase again.
For me Netflix/Disney+/Prime have laid the foundation of no longer relying on Sky’s overpriced satellite packages at least so there’s a positive.
I can only imagine but doesn’t make it less true.
Looks a little like David Mitchell, the British comedian. That’s kinda scary in itself.
It’s about making it easily available so it’s more effort to pirate it. If it’s available on a streaming service you already have or you can purchase it for not a lot then most people will take the easy way out and pay.
Came here to say just that. Mr CEO over not thinking this would happen is just detached from the world.
Lonely people aren’t lonely by choice a lot of the time, they just can’t find a place they fit in. You find out there is a place you can chat with “someone” that understands and that is all it takes.
I think I’ve settled on a new 4k monitor to replace the pair of aging NEC screens I have.
I can never think of anything, which is worse as my birthday is in December too 😔
I googled it. It’s a Nuby Boomerang 64, there is a trigger on each side underneath and a slot for the rumble/memory pack. So yeah, that might actually work better for some games at least.
Tell them you value their beliefs?
