If someone has a suggestion/link on how a decentralized web grows past DNS I’m all ears.
100%. I’ve done IT support. If I’ve called you, you either have access I don’t to solve my problem or this ticket is gonna take a week to resolve.
If we all did this capitalism would collapse.
And that’s how I earned the nickname pigpen on a camping trip.
Anything in particular I should be wary of switching from Mint to Mint DE?
Done? Now you get to memorize tree species and become “that guy who measures the trees.”
These are cool, but I highly doubt anyone uses theirs regularly. What we need are makerspace-backed hyperlocal recycling projects. A much more expensive but much more effective method to recycle the same PET bottle would involve a plastic shredder and proper filament extruder. And old 3D prints? Sort them by color and material, they can go through the exact same process. Pulltruders can still be a useful tool, but more for education and spreading awareness than a practical source for filament.
Had a feeling it was flock. Checked the article and yep. If you don’t have the chance to punch nazis, smash flock cameras.
Personally I use peertube whenever I can. I use grayjay so I just pick the least shitty source for each channel I want to subscribe to.
Utah passed a law preventing public sector unions from collective bargaining. We collected enough signatures opposing to get an item on the ballot in 2026. The fight definitely isn’t over but I’m proud that we’re successfully fighting back in a state as red as this.
Thank you for laying out the argument so well. It massively frustrates me when people point to corporations “carbon footprint” campaigns and argue that all the change needs to come from them. They hold massive blame, but if you let yourself imagine it’s only corporations fault you won’t be prepared to make changes when they’re necessary.
My local bike share is a screaming deal. No upcharge for electric bikes. 3 dollars for a single trip, 20 dollars for a month pass, or 75 for a year. Yet I still see people on those overpriced rental scooters as if they aren’t just a tourist attraction at this point.
Climate flight on the coasts will push people inward to landlocked locations. Many of which are experiencing ongoing drought and other issues sourced from humanity’s dominance over the planet. The coming age of tragedy will be an interconnected web of human fault and failures. Among the battles we must win for a better tomorrow is the fight against nationalism. Migration will be a key element of protecting the vulnerable from climate disaster. We cannot afford to abandon or write off our neighbors.
So that’s why every stargate planet looks like Canada
Still only one model. Until there’s an actual selection this is a marketing stunt.
The standard user cannot comprehend that Bitwarden is less than $1 a month and totally worth every cent.
Fuck no. Folding a flag like this before burning is how you respectfully retire it. Piss on it, ball it up, throw it in the fire, then piss on it while it burns. Sing union dixie or some shit while it burns for added effect.
