the main issue is album representation within the rss feed, multiple artist representation (what we call artist credit in musicbrainz and funkwhale) and how to share musicbrainz ids in the feed. Feel free to join the linked discussion and propose an implementation if you want to

I meant music sorry, we already have podcast rss feed because there is a convention around them. But afaik there isn’t for music.

we would love to but afaik newpipe are looking for maintainers (seehttps://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe) and at funkwhale we don’t have enough money incomes to maintain new tools. But if this was to be done I would suggest we all create a common language to share audio content, this could be rss or activity pub. But rss seem more interoperable (more easy, more compatible with static sites, no actor signing).
