I really like Boxes, but since it can only run VMs in the unprivileged qemu:///session, it simply doesn’t support features like PCI passthrough, autostart or even slightly sophisticated networking setups. :/

Why do you need this? I’m curious because I didn’t even notice Signal had this restriction. To me instant messenges really aren’t something that I’d ever need an archive of.

I mean sure, technically that is a limitation. Realistically though, that is long enough.

I have been running gnome-shell with the --no-x11 flag for quite some time now and haven’t been missing anything.

I spent extra to not have any components with RGB. The only lighting I find tolerable is white (!) LEDs.

None at all.

FYI – The reference to the flake doesn’t have to be a path, but can also point to git repositories. This let’s you do fun stuff like:

nixos-rebuild switch --flake github:myusername/mynixosrepo

The default fragment name used is the current hostname of the machine, so it can be omitted most of the time.

Literally anyone I know who ever owned an e-bike has had it stolen. I don’t own a bicycle anymore, since I can’t keep them inside and they keep getting stolen.

Not sure where you live, but in major cities this is a huge issue. Just consider the profit to be made on e-bikes.
