  • Ive also been playing with that mod and its awesome, really made the game feel so much smoother and more fluid. Ive been using the balanced mode though since the higher performance ones seemed to make everything look really foggy. FSR seems to work and look way better on the deck too. The only thing I’ve found so far about the gameplay that im not really fond of is that if you dont cycle out your reserve party they level so much slower and end up underleveled, so you have to keep switching uo your main party to make sure everyone is balanced. Also the platforming on the gestral beach is a fucking joke and i honestly think they might have put it in just as a tongue in cheek reference to how shit the game engine is.

  • Can confirm. When i first met my fiance, i gave her a tea box that i filled with pretty rocks, shells, pinecones etc. that i had found and enjoyed. We spent basically every day together for a month, but i already had a move planned and after i moved we drifted apart. Saw eachother maybe once every couple years as friends, and we both had other relationships. Then 6 years later we both got out of long relationships at the same time, ended up reconnecting, and basically immediately moved in together. She still had the box. Now we’ve lived together for 5 years and are getting married soon. Girls like pretty things that you find on the ground, and they like it even more when those pretty things make you think of her.

  • Blue prince was great, but I found that it got way too repetitive in the (post)endgame and didn’t have enough return on each playthrough to keep me engaged. Theres a real sense of diminishing returns on the exploration and secrets and it takes way too goddamn long to get anything done. I wish there was a way to make more persistent changes that carry through to the next day once you’ve reached the final room.

  • Why would yhere always need to be hunger? Its been proven over and over that this is a solvable problem and we have more than enough resources to solve it. They even put a monetary amount on it and it could easily be solved by a single billionaire. And then we know that once people arent starving or desperate for shelter and constantly concerned about their basic needs and survival, crime goes way down. And why does there need to be war? Because the oil companies or mercenaries and military industrial complex demands it? Let them die and we could easily have a much better society that takes care of all peoples basic needs. Its really not that complicated.

  • This study is actually kind of sad, because upon further reflection on the data, it was found that the kids with “poor impulse control” were actually less likely to trust authority figures because they had experienced so many letdowns or broken promises from adult role models in their lives. Kids with happy home lives who were used to getting treats were way more likely to wait for the second marshmallow, whereas kids who had been consistently lied to or had never been given spontaneous treats by their caretakers were more likely to just take what was right in front of them.
