As a non-programmer who’s occasionally dabbled with wxPython, I’ve entangled myself with self.parent.parent and their childs/siblings more than once. At that stage I know my project is done.

There’s never been a time where a sane person would use a Windows server for example
I dunno if it was sane, but my employer has been deploying Windows servers in industrial environments where the “operator” are technicians (non-IT) without access to remote support. With a Windows interface at least they are usually able to navigate the system and troubleshoot when needed without Linux experience (which they never have).
In similar cases I’ve passive-aggressively intentionally misunderstood and/or acted confused. E.g. “Yes, we can set ut up an API between X and Y, but what exactly do you want the bot to do?” Then let them elaborate until it’s clear they’re not asking for a bot.
I used to have the same issue, and booted up a Windows VM for anything I couldn’t get working on Linux, like syncing my Polar watch. Now I’m down to only using the VM when doing a firmware update of my Gardena robotic lawn mower, which is like once every second year.
On my Gardena, it would be no chance. The “skirt” around it means you would need to lift it to get hurt, and any attempts to lift it triggers the emergency stop. I reckon that’s standard with most of them. The teeny tiny blades are also not really screwed down, so it doesn’t have much cutting potential, just enough for grass and weeds.
Well, the Facebook algorithm has noticed that I stop scrolling when I see big ole tiddies, so my feed has been very… suggestive lately. Not that I’m complaining.
To be fair, people do still occasionally die during marathons.
no negative change in my post-laundry output
What a beautiful phrase, I’m totally gonna nick the term post-laundry output
It’s a shame that, when Norwegians changed their counting system, the suggestion of using “to-ti” didn’t catch on for 20. It would be analogous to saying “twoty” in English.
For always fitting in your pocket without being obtrusive, a Victorinox Minichamp Alox with a pocket clip.

Even in July 1914? Interesting take.

Same, and they might even have properly adjusted headlights, but as soon as they tilt up (e.g. due to a speed bump), the flashing lights make it look like they are sending me a light signal. Usually takes a few seconds until I realise they just hit a speed bump.
Interesting, first thing we learned was to try to knee them in the groin to make them let go.
No, 'cause the /s cheapens the experience of good sarcasm.
Nice numbers <3
In a horrible accent though, at least use an actor that speaks the language or is able to mimic it well enough for a few lines.
Might not be hot, but it is sticky.
