That was a fun one

Yeah, I have a couple over 800MB PNGs that I can only get Gimp to open properly. I need to look into pyramidal TIFFs.
There’s a similar chip that makes a door chime ding-dong sound. M581A
I forced myself to learn to touch type when I switched to Dvorak. I started out with stickers on the keys, but when that laptop died a couple months into the switch, I never got another sticker set, so almost none of my keys had the correct labels, so looking at them wasn’t a good option. I’m definitely as much faster typist now, and I only partly credit the Dvorak layout.
Pretty much only occasionally when I’m sick or really hungover – and then only before late afternoon. I get strong sleep inertia, so if I’m not careful, a nap means I’m groggy all evening then can’t fall asleep at a reasonable time. 😞
Yep! It’s running fine right now on my Pixel 9.
I tried a beta release several months back, but it wasn’t stable enough to keep using it. I should try it again now
Google removed my app because I wasn’t updating it regularly enough. I WASN’T UPDATING IT BECAUSE IT WAS FINISHED AND IT DID EVERYTHING I WANTED IT TO DO!
Eh, I also enjoyed seeing the comparison between Go and Python, seeing the jumps in time because of allocations, and knowing the size of the list when the more efficient algorithm started to become faster.
(I don’t leather craft, but I do plenty of other craft and engineering things.) I used to be pretty stingy about changing blades until I bought a 100 pack. Now I happily change the blade when I feel it getting dull or when I’m starting a new project. I’m ok with having to go over a cut a second time or so, but when the blade is dull enough it’s making the cut less clean, it’s definitely time to change.
Horribly misleading title. They haven’t found one. They are just talking about the odds of finding one, and they don’t even have a fancy approach.
I’ve actually found 1% to be a lot more common nowadays.
I think you are reading this entirely wrong. Throwing the bombs isn’t the inspirational part. It’s the bad part. The inspirational part is that the Czech forced laborers are rebelling the best they can against the Nazi regime by sabotaging the bombs they are forced to make.
It’s it a grift if she actually believes what she says? I get the vibe from her that she’s sincere but has a bunch of bad opinions and isn’t smart or introspective enough to realize or at least realize quickly.
I read it more like “we were planning on helping the blind next but now this bullshit got in the way and we have to deal with it first unfortunately. DRM is hindering accessibility.”
There’s one in the post. (Likely got added sometime after your comment)
The movie is a metaphor for loss, how you deal with it, and how it changes you. Dan Olson, Folding Ideas (same channel as the Line Goes Up video on NFTs), has an absolutely fantastic video on it https://youtu.be/URo66iLNEZw
I think more specifically for C, 0 is false and anything nonzero is true. Idk about NaN/inf.
I built one of those maybe 13-15 years ago. With D-cell batteries, I think I’ve only had to change them once. It’s also good at picking up when the AC turns on and when I flip a light switch.
