Yeah I know turn it off and on again. I know to check and reseat connections. I know other hardware checks and eliminating variables like unnecessary hardware or software incompatibilities. I know how to Google. If I’m calling IT support it’s not something I can fix without their admin permissions. It might be simple for them or it could be hell on earth but at least I probably didn’t cause the problem.

Always has been. When they started this kind of research they knew diseases they were weaponizing could get out and they determined it was an acceptable risk.

You can get a small window AC unit for like $200. I moved to a super hot humid area at 21, first thing I did despite working minimum wage was I bought a cheap window AC. Because I wanted to live. It only cooled my bedroom but I basically lived in that room for the next couple of months.
How the hell can that many people in Europe die when life saving cooling is so easily accessible? I know I hear Europeans say, “Not many houses have AC.” Okay. But maybe consider it if you’re dying? Seriously wtf.

I’d want to drive to my hotel or Airbnb and walk everywhere once I got there. We’re usually traveling with 6 people.
Yeah we visited Toronto recently and just parked at the hotel the whole time. When you’re traveling with 6, a car is cheaper than flying in plus you’re not as limited on luggage. New York isn’t that far from us and I’ve been upstate but never to NYC.
I’m lower middle class and would like to take my family to visit NYC someday. It just got more expensive for us.
So poor people pay an even more disproportionate amount of their income to use a car, for many of whom it is a necessity. The rich get less traffic, the poor just have to take whatever crumbs they can afford.
It’s a terribly regressive tax but I guess some of them are cool now because reasons.
That is pretty much exactly 1/3 of the size we usually buy in the US. I think it’s a little over 21 oz, I always buy the 64 oz size. Our family goes through it pretty quickly.
I’ve had to scoot past a family of mountain goats at 14.5k feet on a ridge with cliffs on both sides, and let me say that papa goat was 300 lbs of muscle and was definitely the GOAT!
I never got to work from home until a couple of months in 2025 because of an office space move. It was pretty nice. Most people didn’t get much of it though.
