For the ones thinking about joining up, there’s a poem, written by a young soldier coming home in the 40s.
He’s famous in post war Germany. All schoolchildren read it at least once, the message seems largely forgotten, it’s called:
Then there’s only one thing to do!

so ist das System. und am Ende zählt aber auch: every man for himself. Das wird zwar oft anders propagiert, also Sozialpartnerschaft und so, am besten jetzt auch als Nationalismus, aber das ist nun mal eine Lüge. im herrschenden Neoliberalismus wurden da auch wirklich noch die letzten Scharniere rausgeschmissen und es zählt was oben steht.
Ich finde das schade, aber wenige scheinen wirklich etwas ändern zu wollen (naja bis auf die, die es in die Barbarei treibt). Klauen im Supermarkt ist derweil nur ein glitch.
ich würde sagen, du ignorierst hier eine Variable, g. der Preis ist nicht nur x+y, sondern x+y+g. also ware, lohn, gewinn. dann ist alles auf einmal ein bisschen flexibler.
noch flexibler wird es, wenn der Markt dann schon ein quasi Monopol innehat, oder Preisabsprachen führt und somit auch den Preis von x gewaltig mitbestimmen kann.
wenn du dann noch weitergehen willst und die Perspektive wirklich ändern willst, dann kannst du dir vorstellen, wie die Menschen vom Produkt ihrer gesellschaftlichen Arbeit erstmal ausgeschlossen werden, um es dann ganz unterschiedlich zurückzuerhalten.

My thoughts:
When sanctions are lifted it wouldn’t stop capital outflow, which can be controlled by the state anytime. Only capital inflow might increase, which wouldn’t damage Putin’s regime, it’s something Russia actually craves for. Also, Putin has continuously shown he wants to have sanctions lifted. A war or conflict with NATO on the other hand would never consolidate Putin’s power, how could it?

But I am not sure if I am getting this right: You think the outflow of capital would be so disastrous for Putin’s power that he’d try to stop it by testing NATO? Because then he’d get sanctions again, which would stop the outflow? Or at least that’d be his intention?
Can you explain why Putin would do that?

One could wonder whether those types don’t wear clothes before they get into office, but it’s just like that: they want to get into office for the fucking lifestyle and that’s it.
Oh well, you know NATO’s just a military alliance under the command of a fascist nation, so who gives a fuck.
They probably didn’t move there with the intention of doing good to anyone but themselves. So I think this “doing more harm than good" really is just a turn of phrase meaning they realised they did harm and not necessarily a sign of hypocrisy.
Can you blame them? Doesn’t that constitute success?

Sounds like it, we just have to ignore the basis of our fucking capitalist/nationalist system. You need to attract capital to survive, and when you do, it fucks you over. And it can do it easily, cause it can just say screw you, if you don’t play ball, I go to another nation state.
And then people are being told to get angry at the foreigners, the internationalists, the Jews, the gays, until of course bad things are starting to happen. And we’ve been played by this cycle for centuries by now. It’s been analysed, talked about, a little bit fought about, things got a little better after some world wars, and now we’re at the end of a cycle again, and everybody’s shocked. SHOCKED.
And I’m bloody sick of it.
