I haven’t had that experience at all and I’ve been here for years. Maybe you’re lurking in the wrong subs.

Lots of shit-talking Bazzite…
I don’t game much but when I do it’s on Fedora.
What distro do you all recommend for my Windows buddy looking to switch to gaming on Linux?
We’ve all been there. It’s super frustrating but once you’ve attained enough experience with a Linux OS you come to appreciate it and the problems either become less impactful or disappear as you learn to anticipate your actions causing said issues and adjust your behavior accordingly.
I’ve been a Windows user for multitudes longer than I’ve been a Linux user. It took me a few years to become a fairly advanced user of Linux. When I occasionally have to use Windows for work I still struggle to troubleshoot anything and am constantly frustrated knowing a task I’m doing could be many times simpler if I was on Linux.
Try turning off the device, remove the battery, then take a safety pin and compressed air and scrape out any dust I’m the usb-c port then spray with air. I had a issue with my phone charging but not getting data. I spent a solid 15mins doing the above and it fixed it.
A good test is to see how firmly the usb-c sticks in the port. If it comes out pretty easy or feels seated sloppily then it probably just needs a good cleaning.
I wonder if Fireship will make a video about this…
Congrats. They do have a requests section if there happens to be a torrent with 0 seeders you want.
I use Signal but I keep signal use to personal IRL contacts. I don’t use Matrix as much anymore but if you have a matrix room I’d join in. I’m on the more advanced side of the privacy lifestyle so my communications are highly compartmentalized. Simplex is a bit clunky still but for smaller communities it’s not terrible.
Do you have plans to make a Simplex group soon? You mentioned on the pod it’s where you two first met. Would love to chat and Simplex is the most private option imo.
I’d be curious to see this symbol replacing the hand in the previous thread’s eye and palm.
For me his skyrim video back in the day had me crying. But I’m sure if I watched it now it wouldn’t be as magical.
I finally got around to installing this app but it requires an account. Is this a recent requirement?
I can’t remember any time in the last 2 years before I deleted my reddit account where a post I made didn’t get auto-moderated.
This looks promising. At that price I might as well try it out. Thanks.
This is exactly what I was thinking. A bit out of my budget though.
This is encouraging. Thank you.
My bad. Its been a while, but Thunderbird at one point. If I remember right there was an update relatively recently that made it much more difficult to import offline emails, so if you find a better alternative let me know.
I should re-iterate I download the emails to use in an offline client. Their service doesn’t support third party clients to receive and send email.
When I do taxes, I need to search thousands of emails for receipts and the tuta apps make this impossible. This is my workaround.
I’ve used Tuta for years, paid account with multiple custom domains.
I prefer them for their principles, but their clients are extremely frustrating. Emails load very slowly and their email search is basically unusable.
I’ve resorted to downloading old emails and using other clients to import and search through them. I really wish they would improve their email search.
I really like CMT Orange blades. I had a 2 year old blade that seemed to have a defect in the finish and when I contacted them, they immediately asked for my address to send a replacement blade.
I’d like to know as well, but it seems strange for ncdu to take that long. I scan through terrabytes within a few seconds.
