You have to pretend the close part of the cables are right under your nose.
The ocular separation in this is extremely large. It makes the forced perspective hard to focus.
The water was quite calm that day so the artifacts from movement are very minimal and don’t seem to detract from the effect, especially how the far side of the dock seems to jut out into open space.

I need to get a better setup. Movement between frames is causing weird artifacts.
The clouds in this view are confusing because they moved between shots making them appear closer than they actually are.
