Boah wenn ich den Namen Stefan Weber schon höre. Selbst wenn der Typ einmal recht haben sollte hat der es nicht verdient irgendwo im Rampenlicht zu stehen.

Das ist wirklich so absurd

Die Erfahrung hab ich auch schon gemacht. Für Menschen aus so manchen Ländern (bei weitem nicht nur Indien) ist das Konzept, dass die öffentlichen Unis die guten und die privaten tendenziell die schlechten sind glaube ich sehr schwer zu fassen beziehungsweise zu begreifen.

Naja ein Typ der Branchenerfahrung bei Alstom gesammelt hat und ein Typ der den einzigen ernsthaften Konkurrenten der DB Fernverkehr mit aufgebaut hat finde ich als Qualifikation schon durchaus okay.

Das es trotzdem nicht einfach für die wird hat keiner erwartet. Beziehungsweise ich dachte dass das keiner erwartet hat, dementsprechend verstehe ich die Meldung die hier gerade die Runde macht tatsächlich nicht so richtig.

Was heißt den schneller? Ich durfte als Jugendlicher in keiner der von mir besuchten bayerischen Schulen nen Handy angeschaltet dabei haben.

Hatte natürlich jeder trotzdem und es gab auch nur die ein bis zwei berühmt berüchtigten Lehrer von denen man tatsächlich Konsequenzen erwarten konnte aber das Verbot gab es meiner Erfahrung nach damals schon.

Als geborener München mag ich die Stadt ja schon echt gerne und es geht auf jeden Fall schlechter aber Platz 1? Weltweit?

Da würde ich doch eher die Methoden der Umfrage anzweifeln.

Because there a “phases” for the election of the chancellor. The first one just failed. We are now in the second one where the parlament can vote again (once or as many times as they like) if Merz isn’t elected after 14 days we will enter phase 3.

The big difference then beeing the needed majority changing from absolute to relative. Merz already had the relativ majority in this first round so it is more or less sure that he will get at least this numbers and will get elected at this point.

In theory this “relative win” could then be vetoed by the federal president but again unlikely with Steinmeier (SPD and big advocate of Union + SPD governments) being in this position.

Drei mal im Monat = selten

Als gäbe es da nicht auch noch nen paar mehr (Zwischen-)Schritte.

On that note: GTK has its issues but the idea/concept to just use CSS for theming is just great.

Don’t quote me on anything but from what I read the complicated situation of the WoT licences is slowing everything down. There seem to be at least three companies involved (Amazon, Sony, IWoT), likely even more.

And from what it looks like they aren’t on a green path yet.

I certainly hope that they can fix their issues and continue producing soon.

I’ve watched it just now an in generaly liked it once again. Would have wished for more of a closer for some archs but apart from that good final for the season.

Will post some more thoughts later.

This was a very Perrin-centric episode. I have to admit, even in the books his story arch never really catched on to me. Still, there were some great moments in this episode as well.

Likes:

• The villagers’ song. I love that we get a catchy song in every episode now. (Edit: Its not new but the atmosphere was perfect)
• In general, how they handled the fight scenes as well as the training of the villagers.
• Faile: So much better than the books. Same with her relationship with Perrin.
• Really glad they got rid of Dain Bornhold, who thought Perrin was a dark friend. Never made much sense, and everything could still happen as known if he just hates him because of his father.
• Bain and Chiad. Their style, their behavior, their comments, everything. Together they are my secret favorites this season.
• The two river set is still great and the landscape shots fit perfectly into how I imagined the area years ago.

Dislikes:

• Would have liked to see more Trollocs, less dark friends in the battles.
• The death of Loial. I just don’t see a reason for him not to be in the later seasons. Of course, it could be another Fake death, but I would dislike that even more. The high numbers if this is still one of my top criticisms of the show.

I finally managed to watch the episode yesterday evening.

Quit interesting indeed.

The musical number felt a bit off, idk, there is so much music in the books and crowds do respond by joining in at various points, but it still felt stilted for the song.

Agree. On the hand I liked the song and the scene but on the other it kind if brought me out if immersion.

But seeng Thom again is a big plus.

Egwene immediately opening up to Bair and Melaine about being an accepted robs us of a nice moment later where

While I don’t remember the moment later from the books I was quit surprised that they just accepted that she lied to them.

The attempted resurrection didn’t hit quite as well as it did in the books.

I liked the acting in that scene, but for me it was one of the rare times where the special effects didn’t really grab me. So I agree that some other effects might have made it more “shocking”.

Overall I agree good episode but there are a few nitpicks.

In my first playthrough I choose Leah and I still think that was a solid choice. But I never setteled on one partner.

Currently I try or rather plan to romance Penny.
