I like Satya Organics which I originally ordered to combat perioral dermatitis but now whack on as a lip balm before a run. It’s also women and indigenous owned. They have a small travel tin (which you can refill if you get the home compost pouch) which doubles as a lipbalm
Recommend Mint cleaning products, I’ve used them for nearly 2 years or so now. Produced out of Ucluelet, BC and I get them from my local refillery place (The Source) or order in bulk direct for what isn’t stocked near me

I thought Tesla sales in Canada were cratering. How does this giant store make sense?
They sure are! At the end of Q1 2025, Tesla sales dropped by 71% worldwide and 87% in Montreal. I could’t find the numbers for BC.
Construction started on the Strathcona site in December 2023-long before Elon went full Elon. The estimated completion date is spring 2026.
*One prophecy and one wishful thinking/wild dream: *
The building gets finished but every other Tesla store in the lower mainland closes.
Tesla stops construction and another company finishes the building as affordable housing.
Can you imagine if we (Vancouverite) cares as much for issues happening much much closer to home having direct impact on us?
In case BECAUSE you missed it, Tesla is building a 120,000 square foot megastore, the biggest in North America (not just Canada), in Strathcona, the poorest postal code in Canada (not just BC). Strathcona is in Vancouver. How much closer to home should it be?
Our friends and us are almost all working 6 days a week and doing other side hustles to keep above water. Mortgage renewals, childcare, etc etc, everyone is struggling yet these guys have the time to protest?
This is exactly where the oligarchs want you. Struggling, so you don’t have the time or energy to protest.
They also want us fighting amongst ourselves, so we don’t stop and pay attention to what they’re doing to us.

THIS protest has a concrete, actionable goal: attack Elon in his Achilles heel until Tesla is worthless. Tesla goes down, Elon goes down.

If/WHEN the Tesla stock price drops below a certain point-$125, I think-he gets margin called and his Twitter investors come around and say, “Pony up the cash, dude; your stock has lost too much value to be collateral.” He has to sell his stock, and the dominoes start falling.

Point being: this protest is WORKING.
Elon has worked in the interest of the United States. I don’t agree with his stance, lifestyle, and many other things. But hey, he’s entitled to his own opinions and beliefs; just like you and me.
