Being real for a sec, are you doing okay with everything? This can’t have been very fun for you to engage with so it’s starting to seem like you just want someone to talk to.
I try to keep in mind that there are real humans beyond the words we’re typing and these peoples have lives and stress and a bunch of shit we could never see.
Social media, especially karma systems, are a quick way to feel like we’re being social, but the upvote/downvote system psychologically puts us in constant competition, as though conversations can have a clear winner and loser.

How can we presume that?
All we know is that these people were promised a novel written as art by humans and were baited and switched into getting an algorithm.
It’s kind of like the invention of the printing press. Sure, the content may not be artistically crafted any more, and there may be waaaay more slop. But I bet we will end up getting way more high quality content too.
If we’re still in the betting process for whether AI might one day potentially be high quality then it sounds like you understand that today it’s not a viable product to write novels with.

3 is shit on and seen as the punching bag because from an overarching story they dropped the ball hard with Desmond’s story line.
The actual game though is one of the better stories (after AC: 2) Ubisoft ever pulled off.
2, 3, IV and Origin/Odyssey are the only times I would say Ubisoft actually tried to do something unique outside of simply pumping yearly releases with marginal engine changes.
