Kicking up a big fuss, saying that Republicans are destroying the country and unpatriotic, marching in the streets and promising to raise millions to run against anyone who votes for these unpopular bills, makes the republicans back down. The Trump administration already interfered by getting Tate released from jail in Romania. Pam Bondi is already publicly corrupt. Tate has become a political liability for Trump and there’s a clear motive for his administration to put him away. I have more than enough probable cause to be suspicious here.

Trump got him out of jail and his party got angry at him for it. So his partisan DOJ of course is opening the investigation.

He’s not innocent but this is also politically motivated. They wouldn’t do this if it wasn’t for Trump meddling. I miss having an independent DOJ.
