Throw the dry rice in a skillet and give it a little oil enough to coat, then gently fry/toast it until golden and fragrant. Then cook it will maybe half a cup less water. Also, sofrito is a beautiful thing in rice.

Try dropping the refresh rate just a little. Worked for my 27" AOC VA panel.
144hz on mine is very prone to this. 120hz only acts up on a fresh power-on. When it’s cold I just set it to dim instead of sleep.
I don’t know much about flashlights, but I know my job just got Olight Baton 4’s for all the technicians. I believe the 1300lm claim when the thing is cranked up. That’s a lot of light from a flashlight the size of my thumb.
So are they okay with healthier foods like steak, lobster, and avocado toast now?
