There is an old tree stump nearby, so it’s possible it was growing on a piece from that.

There might be, but he did not let us know about it if there is.
Nope, 100% real. My roommate has a pet and the landlord forced them to pay a $50/month pet fee.
Don’t forget that your landlord forces you to pay through a 3rd party company that charges a “convenience” fee of ~3% so your $600 rent is actually $620.
Ask me how I know.
I realize what this post is saying, but it reminded me of a somewhat similar situation.
In my high school we had to learn the stems of words and their meanings (I.E. Acro = high; acr = sharp, etc). Our English teachers would give us a list of 15 stems (25 if you took accelerated/advanced English) at the start of the week and then on Friday they would hand out a quick test for us to conplete.
The idea was you’d look over the list throughout the week and memorize them that way. But instead I would look at the list 5 minutes before the exam, memorize them, take the test, ace it, then forget about them before the class even ended. Worked every time.
I agree. Looking at the stats for the county mentioned, it’s only about 1/3 that religion, which is nowhere near enough for that entire district to vote for Trump.
I’ll have to read the article, but if I recall correctly there are some rather religious communities in some New York counties. And they vote in a rather peculiar way. They will listen to their religious leaders about who to vote for and then they all unilaterally vote for that candidate.
I’m wondering if that’s what’s going on.
Funny this gets brought up as about 4 weeks ago Elliot Sang released a 71 minute video asking that very same question.
I think I may have been reading too much into the word “bad” implying as if the person themself is bad since they still dislike being referred to as weird.
I think it can also depend on who calls you weird and why/how. I’ve received both the negative, “ew, you’re weird” reactions as well as positive ones. Like a friend calling me a “strange human being” in an endearing way; or another saying I’m 80/20 with my weirdness. With 80% being good weird and the remaining 20% just plain weird. I think being called weird in a positive way can help with embracing it.
I feel I disagree. Those who get mad at being called weird just haven’t learned to accept and embrace their weirdness yet. It took me a while. And I still sometimes feel the need to hide it. It can take a while to work through.
Reminds me of this photo I got of some friend’s dogs. Izzy on the right is pretty relaxed, but Willow really isn’t sure what she should be doing.
The image says what happens. It can’t hurt you, it’s against the rules.
Depends on the region. Some places will test it on noon on Sundays. The place I’m currently at will test it once a month on Wednesday at 11 am.
Adjusted for inflation that would be… $4.99 today…
I have a 34" IPS ultrawide from 2018 that I’ve been using heavily for work and personal use (essentially 14+ hours a day). Since it’s an IPS panel I have no worry about burn-in. And I can keep using it for another 6-7 years without worrying about it.
With an OLED panel in the same scenario, I’d expect to see some burn in happening within 3 years of getting it.
That is a good question that I do not know. But since they’re the ones hosting it on their servers, they may have the most legitimate claim to the ad revenue since it does cost money to keep the trailers on their servers and to stream it to viewers.
I am not a lawyer, though. This is just pure speculation on my part.
I mean, I could see there being solar powered robots. So, kind of, yeah.
