Wild, feels like this week is dragging for me. Does not feel like it is Thursday already.

Got the Kiwiberry plant a couple years ago from a local country market (Jimboomba in SEQ). Must be rare, as when I was talking to the lady about something else, she pulls out the plant from her van and asked if I wanted to buy it. It was the only one she had.

My Kiwiberry plant lost all of its leaves mid-way through March. Last week, it suddenly decided to grow a heap of new leaves to replace the lost ones. I live in Queensland so it might be getting confused with all the wild weather we have been getting.

Corn has not fared well, but the carrots look okay for now.

Grasshoppers are still the bane of my existence.

And I managed to get an almost ripe orange and mandarin drop from my fruit trees. Tasted pretty good either way.

Back end of my yard has turned into a little pond.

I am half way through my new game plus run of Metaphor: Refantazio. Hopefully beat the secret boss soon, and then I plan to move on to Persona 5 Royale. Played OG Persona 5 on PS4 a couple years ago, so have a rough idea of what I am getting into.

Weekends are a boring event for me, usually pick up on the chores I have been neglecting during the week. Lawns are looking pretty unruly, so might get out there and chop them down.

I mean, low 30’s with a billion percent humidity is the standard for us at this time of year, so we pretty much are always in a heatwave 🥵

My citrus trees are having a hell of a time. Not only am I trying to stop citrus leafminers from destroying all the new growth, now locusts are eating all the leaves. I go up to a tree to check, and about a dozen flrying gasshoppers fly off the tree to get away from me. Please stop.

Sowed some carrots at the start of last week, which have now sprouted this week. First time trying carrots, so wish me luck.

I think the answer to this would be to have seperate airspace for civilian and military. Especially in such a major city like Washington DC. Though not sure if it would be totally possible, considering the White House and Pentagon are right there.
