I do the opposite now. I buy discs cheap from bin stores, rip them onto my desktop and then upload to my home library for more affordable ‘streaming’.
Have you used gemini or the Google ai overview? Absolutely atrocious. Chatgpt is wildly wrong at times, but gemini blows my mind st how bad it is.
Why arent they seeking it for the dude who stabbed the Cashapp CEO numerous times
Followed back!
To be fair I’m speaking from a very general use case where what I search is practically a Google question anyways. I’ve yet to figure out too much of the integration aspects, and truthfully it doesn’t give me the response layout I prefer from claude, I’m just saying I like the new integration to do so. It’s helpful.
I used to hate how holding the power button would open bixby, I am absolutely loving how it opens google gemini. The chat can be eh at times, but I bet they will come out on top.
Is this a kind of emergency messaging thing being added or is this the direction we will go instead of 6G? Lol! I’m half joking because idk anything tbh.
I used to curse and scream at my jellyfin software and apps, now I swear by them.
I took a day out of my life, not even a full day lol, and just watched countless YouTube videos on how to set it up and how to customize it how I like.
Now it’s my absolute favorite. I’m learning about building a home server and all that jazz now and I feel nostalgic, like a kid building his first computer lol!
What are your top recommendations, my friend? I’m big on that, I like the social aspects if sites in a sense, but I prefer having a grouped area for my news.
While politics are important to stay up to date on, I’m trying to fix mt feeds to have as minimal political news as possible, unless I click on it.
I’ve been using inoreader, but haven’t quite figured it out either. I’d like to follow scientists and environmentalists like you mentioned, but also artists, designers, small businesses, etc.
I’m trying to stay up to date in my relevant fields, but also find people to donate my time to. I’ve heard mastodon is great for networking, but to be honest, everyone on lemmy has been bad ass. This is becoming my new hub, does lemmy connect into mastodon fediverse thingy? Lol!
Thats me!
Any way I can help you with your goals? No charge of course. I’d like to see more free options available for people, my time is worth the sacrifice to help give power back to the people.
Would you say there’s a good amount of hashtags and what not for the creative type? I’m trying to find ways to network with people in my industry a little better. Cheers mate
It’s StepBacon, I believe haha, I’ll give you a followback!
Right on! Thanks for the genuinely helpful response, I’ve been trying to expand my presence on that app as well. Cheers mate!
Samsung Internet is my favorite, but I am also a lil weirdo. Firefox is my second favorite to merge between devices, as well as connecting with the Pocket app to save things for later.
Sounds about right. Nasty mfs
Any good things to follow on Mastodon? I’ve tried using it, but between BlueSky and Lemmy, it doesn’t seem to have as many users. No biggie, just asking. Cheers!
You guessed that I use an apple device or an android. Your guess are the top two options that capture 99% of the market? Wow, super genius thought process
I love my emulating devices that are full of nintendo games I may or may not have paid for. I definitely paidbthe emulation company, nintendo? Nodidtho
