If you haven’t yet, you should read Octavia Butler’s Parable series, it’s a far more realistic take and she was very prophetic about certain things.

Lots of things should be front page news but aren’t. I think it’s to keep people placid, they tend to get very angry when you try to show them there’s nothing anyone can do now and we’re not going to survive the century.
90% of earths topsoil is at risk of depletion by 2050
Global freshwater demand will exceed supply 40% by 2030
Global human population has surpassed Earth’s sustainable carrying capacity.
Global carbon emissions are still rising
The arctic sea ice extent is declining rapidly and we’re likely headed into a Blue Ocean Event later this year, and potentially a double BOE depending on how the El Nino and summer in the southern hemisphere go.
The world is likely to exceed a key global warming target soon but the earths alebedo with the declining sea ice and lack of cloud cover will impact these numbers massively and isn’t being predicted for, which means that 4.5c above the baseline by 2060 is now possible.
I’ve seen places here mix them up too, it’s not uncommon.

Slimey cooked oat porridges too.
Tastes kinda like peanut butter though and it’s surprisingly good in sushi rolls where the texture can absorbed by the rice somewhat, especially when there’s some other veg involved too.
Then there’s high tea, which yes, features tea. Often a pot and almost never a mug. It frequently comes with anemic sandwiches and perhaps a scone.
High tea is/was the working class term for an evening meal as it was had at the table, and it would usually include cooked meat.
Afternoon tea is the posh one in the afternoon with the cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
Am I not allowed to have opinions?
Has the meaning of ‘creepy’ changed? I used it because blue eyes give me the creeps, they’re reptilian, cold and cruel looking.
Ugh blue eyes are so creepy. Iwill never understand the appeal.
Would you still love me if I was?

they lose attraction because they were never attracted to the person. they are attracted to the fantasy of the person.
and once you become too ‘real’ you destroy the fantasy and they have no more interest.
All of us who were Manic Pixie Dream Girl-ed are reading this thread and rolling our eyes so hard it hurts.
Eh plenty aren’t, you just don’t meet them because they don’t bother trying to bond with people.

A top down view would be really interesting.
Ok, go edit the wikipedia article then if you’re so sure of yourself.
