I would consider myself a borderlands fan since I’ve played every game in the series a bunch of times (except the tell-tale ones). Being obnoxiously stupid was one of the key charms of the franchise. I think if you go and look at how the fanbase feels about 3, it’s going to be the gameplay was really fun but the main story and everything associated with it was terrible. I think most other side missions were pretty decently written and had the charming campyness of the series. Taking out the toilet humor is a real ship of Theseus activity to do in a series where toilets are chests.

Maybe Ben doesn’t need to show up to as many events as he does? Surely that saves money.

People will say I’m clowning but I think a very large part of it might be driver marketability. Sure, Yuki comes with a nice wallet but he isn’t someone you’re using to sell cars and watches and whatever other luxury goods the teams engage with.

The motivation behind doing it was that different cultures treat what is food differently as is exemplified in their example of chicken feet. However, that also raises big questions on the efficacy of this data since houses which use raw fruits and vegetables are probably likely to have higher food waste by this definition since most people aren’t buying bone-in meat. But since a big objective of their report was tackling greenhouse gas generation from said food waste, I guess it makes sense in that context? I tried to figure out the exact methodology by which they estimate their numbers but I wasn’t able to find it.

Looked at the UN report that this chart is trying to use and found this: “Food waste” is defined as food and the associated inedible parts removed from the human food supply chain.
