I feel like the MCU has pivoted towards catering to young kids instead of mainstream audiences. This movie was weak

I don’t go to the theater much anymore: I went to 3 movies last year I think. I fell for the hype this could be worthwhile but it wasn’t. It sucked as an MCU film and a movie in general. It feels like outdated 60s anachronistic schlock

This. As someone who grew up reading Marvel I always avoided the FF because they seemed cheesy. Movie adaptations just prove that they are a relic of the 60s

I went hoping they could do something to not make the FF boring, but nah. This was the same old family crap

I was planning on going this afternoon just because it’s NEON and their movies don’t usually come to my local theater, and are gone super fast (Cuckoo was only here from Fri-Wed of one week).

They really did have a Szechuan sauce and it was pretty awesome. They reintroduced it for a limited time after the Rick and Morty episode and was lucky enough to get a couple of packs one night with McNuggets.

This is one of the few movies where I find the remake far superior. Barbara is a limp fish rag in the original. It hits harder for a social point at the end with Ben, but I kind of like the retribution of the remake

I do hate how they don’t always list the names of times zones and instead just a city in it. Imagine being in Belize and having to pick Chicago time zone. Why can’t it say “Central” or even GMT-6
