“Guys, just saw telegram footage of Stuka dive bombers leveling the airbases of the Red air force, they’re COOKED!”
“Holy shit they’re advancing down the Vyazma highway, nothing will stop them, Moscow is lost, its so Joever for the big man…”
Yeah for sure. I was there IRL in Minneapolis when that was going down, they straight up burned down a police station. And raided a target, giving out food to people on the streets. Shit was really fuckin’ dope.
Sadly, not seeing that level of energy yet.
Always have appreciated your analyses, Mr Penis. Yes it’s been funny seeing the Western response to the last 10+ years now from Syria, but yeah. I have a few Syrian buddies from University and they said very similar things to you. Sounds like you guys have been screwed for many years.
Despite what people say online (or this news thread for that matter) I agree that it’s entirely up to Syrians to determine how they feel right now. Absolutely surreal situation.
Just got home from work and man what a thread to get back to. Like many of you, I am not Syrian nor do I have any ties there but man, what a ride it has been since this mess kicked off.
I mean it’s always been critical support for Assad but still. I feel like it’s clear that we’re witnessing another Iraq or Libya. I’m afraid for what comes next now. It’s a really tough time wrapping up this year, but hopefully the imperial core will face something soon. Or at least Ukraine getting KO’d at last. I don’t know. Something…
Lastly, sure am gonna miss the Who must go memes, those were a favorite of mine. But in all seriousness, wishing nothing but the best to the Syrian people. Feels like dark times are ahead. :(
Or the Brotherhood of Steel for that matter. Then again I guess its not surprising given their IRL interest in techno fascism…
Awww really? Was hoping the movie San Andreas would become real and citizens would have to rely on The Rock to help them.
What a fascinating read. I have to wonder, is this what it was like during the days of the USSR? Seeing such maturity and responsibility of a superpower is such a breath of fresh air after all this flip flop nonsense of American policy over the last few decades (or rather centuries)…
In other words, God I love Xi, he’s so fucking cool
Great answer, that’s exactly what I was wondering. Makes a lot of sense if they were launched from a long distance away, especially re: the Russians and the Kinzhals.
Oh I know, just saw it as I was walking past my parents living room with dinner, I’d never be caught dead watching that otherwise.
For anyone more versed in Iranian military capabilities, here’s a question.
If this attack was done by airstrikes, doesn’t Iran have SAM/AA batteries, or even fighter interceptors? How did they get through to Tehran? I mean they’ve gotta at least have radar to give an early warning, right?
NBC is reporting that apparently the strikes were targeted at a barracks, an office, and an ammo depot.
Best of luck on your journey Mr. LargePenis.
The earliest attack was on September 11
Putin being told of the second attack this month:
What about Spain’s first astronaut, Luis Carrero Blanco?
On 20 December at 9:36 am, a three-man ETA commando unit disguised as electricians detonated the explosives by command wire as Blanco’s Dodge Dart passed.[2] The blast sent Blanco and his car 20 metres (66 ft) into the air and over the five-story church, landing on the second-floor terrace of the opposite side.[3] Blanco survived the blast but died at 10:15 am in hospital.[2] His bodyguard and driver died shortly afterwards.[2] The “electricians” shouted to stunned passers-by that there had been a gas explosion, and then fled in the confusion. ETA claimed responsibility on 22 January 1974.
Can never trust a Shapiro…
Well for our non-American audience, Walz would be a pretty average European Social Democrat. So yeah pretty great for American standards, but for the rest of the world? Ehhhhh…
it would lose them Michigan
I think this was a big factor in the decision. Sure, Pennsylvania is now more up for grabs, but Walz helps to secure Wisconsin and Michigan with that upper Midwest energy.
Can confirm. I’d say I like what Walz has done like 80% of the time. Still a lib, but you could do a lot worse. Plus I do kinda admire that he’s just some Midwestern guy who just kinda wound up there unlike career politicians. Super surprised he came out of nowhere a few weeks ago and now is on the ticket. Its wild.
Its northern Idaho, that part of the country is a huuuge hotbed for fash, unfortunately.
