Also since most of the time there is a minimum pension its good for people that had to stay home raising kids and not having an income to pay for their pension in that time. My mom is 62 this year and will retire at 64, she works in an office doing administrative things and she herself tells me she just cant keep up with new tool, technology etc. even ui changes are hard for her. Now imagine this at the age of 70, how productive can anyone really be?
