Serious question, asking in good faith here as a non-mandarin speaking westerner:
If mainstream, policy-guiding economics is so overwhelmingly western (neoclassical), why is China on such a wildly different economic trajectory compared to the contradictory hellscape of the west? Is it the applications of these horribly unmarxist economics? Is it the remnants of mao-era policies? I’m very ignorant on this, but i’d love to learn more
How, uh, “grounded” does it feel? Not as in setting or story, but how your character feels in the world. Are the NPCs fully static? Are there settlements? Crime? Can you pick up forks and other clutter? I’ve been following the game for a while but can’t make heads or tails of it in terms of immersion
No, just standard tomato sauce. It’s paired with curry seasoning fairly often but not always.
A personal favorite is:
Most swedes are legitimately shook when they learn that our pizzas are unhinged compared to the rest of the world. It’s so ubiquitous here we literally don’t reflect on the fact that it could be seen as weird.
Also banana on pizza goes unbelievably hard
Can you explain? Sounds interesting
Man i like Lorenz but I wish this genre of almost-there journalists would just slay the “authoritarianism” brainworm. It would benefit their analysis to such an incredible degree.
This lines up with my thinking. Thank you for clarifying!
I see! Thank you for your patience in responding <3
Oh yeah I am not arguing BE’s position, I don’t particularly care. I’m more asking for my own count if there are reasons to be critical of Cuba as an AES project (moreso than others), and how that would tie into being a Trot position etc.
Well ok, let me rephrase: Is support of Cuba not an ML position?
Is it trot to believe in Cuba as a bastion of socialism in the “west”?
Edit: Genuine question, asking in good faith here
I had no idea! Exciting!
Already played wotr (twice). What really impressed me about RT was more the mechanics. Writing and all was great too (better than wotr imo) but the mechanics are truly excellent
Finished Rogue Trader recently, shit goes so incredibly hard. Going back for my first real BG3 playthrough since release and while it’s still great, it REALLY highlights the strengths of Rogue Trader
I’m sorry to keep NL-posting but there’s a reason he’s like the only youtuber/streamer with emotes on here. He’s simply the GOAT of being a nice well-rounded person who is also actually funny.
Do you have a source on the quadrillions part? I thought deep sea lil freaky dudes like that were all rare n stuff?
GOOD post
She doesn’t use paint people
Is this true? Can I see some high-tier xi-slop fat-salt-and-carbs treats?
