I had that issue last time I switched to Linux. Thankfully eventually it went away. It should help to distro hop to a more bleeding edge distro. Fedora specifically gets system updates every night through Discover.

I’m definitely keeping my eye out for Oneplus. Problem I had with them before though was that their UI was too flat and lacked transparent flourishes. That should change with iOS 26…
Also, why is the one plus pad so small…? Their ecosystem needs to be more feature aggressive.
Google needs to get their shit together and put an actually competitive chip in their phones. I’m not buying a late cycle phone with a tensor processor that can’t even match the current snapdragon or A-series.
Czech Republic is on a roll this week…

American transport outside of subway systems is literally unusable in most cases. The bus in my city of 1M+ people takes 1.5 hours to go about 20 minutes of distance by car. In some cases I can beat the bus to a destination on my bicycle.
The model y was the best selling car in the entire world until recently.
A single party like Mexico’s PRI party isn’t the answer either…
Xpadneo is baked into Ubuntu 25 now? I noticed it was in Fedora 42.
The Soltera (and bz4x which is just a rebadge) is literally the worst new car on the market considering price, range, charging speeds, and the outdated CCS port.
Right now the cheapest EV is a model 3. Ioniq 5 comes in a distant second place. The ioniq5/6 have tiny screens if that’s what you’re looking for, but realize you’re paying more for a less technologically advanced vehicle.
I have a Lightning (which uses the same infotainment as the Mach E) and the screen is gigantic, but basically unusable if you’re not using CarPlay/AA because the inbuilt interface literally runs at 15FPS on a good day. Yes, it’s that bad. The inbuilt maps is literally unusable; it doesn’t label major street names if you zoom out a little bit and lags like crazy.
Tous les lumières et ventilateurs, en particulier, le ventilateur dans la salle de bains pour éviter la moisissure.
Yeah. I left windows at windows 8 because of it. At the same time, I left Android because I could no longer build a custom ROM with blur on a Samsung phone (it was around the time Samsung started locking USA bootloaders). The plain, flat, zero layer context drove me away pretty hard. Also, Android just looks super outdated, like as if it came out in the windows ME era and never got more than a color overhaul.
It’s absolutely possible to have full transparency and blur everywhere without being a copy. Android has a bunch of advantages that it can leverage over iOS. Multi window blur would be essential to express the depth and just plain look better than the current implementation.
The lack of blur, shadows, and color on Android are what keep me angrily on iOS despite how locked down it is. I see what you’re saying about contrast being easier on the eyes, but why can’t that just be an option on Android like it is on iOS? You can reduce blur and increase contrast in accessibility settings in iOS.

Circumcised at age 9 here. Restoring with non surgical and eventually surgical methods, here. The difference in sensation is absolutely real. You can’t ask how sensation is right after healing, you have to ask a a year or more later when keratin has built up. It’s a huge difference.
This is my use case as well. Not that macOS gaming is terrible, it’s just not as good as a dedicated Linux system because of the easier proton translation on Linux than the tinkering required on macOS.
