Thanks for pointing it out. I forgot if they were actually compressed or not.

Gifs have a compressed look to them because it’s quite limited in number of colours it can have. But gifs are ~acrually uncompressed~ barely compressed lossless images, similar to .bmp (bitmaps).
Edit: Clarified GIFs are actually compressed, just lossless.
People are afraid of maturity levels, but if they are old enough to join the work force and pay tax, they should also be represented in government.
I was gonna tell you it was a meme and they don’t actually work. This being in science meme I thought they might actually be stereographic images, but it’s from so far away you wouldn’t be able to discern any 3D-ness. But I was wrong the height is exaggerated. For me the walleyed version worked for me, I just had to zoom in on one image and hold my phone quite far away.
“What began as a conflict over the transfer of consciousness from flesh to machine…”
Hm, well that’s a bummer 😯 Thanks for clarifying.
Did they install chrome in desktop mode and Steam picked it up and asked if they wanted a shortcut to it? From what I can tell you get Firefox by default in desktop mode?
Hm, whenever I’ve tried to get it running on both windows and Linux there just a black screen. But thinking about it, there was seething about some USB devices causing that. Maybe I’ll have a second go at it
If someone can get Ground Control 2 working again, I’ll name my first born after you.
We can only hope they log a GPS trace for each mine
Oh no, it’s the time cube all over again!
/s. I can’t pretend I understand any of it, but certainly sounds pretty cool.
Don’t forget the 10 shadow copies of my car/weapon following me around. It’s like someone really liked having a trailing mouse cursor and thought everything should have it
Or they just missed the target. It’s known the enrichment centre is there, but exactly where you’d need to bomb a 100 meters deep target is not. So yes, either the site is inactive, or the bombing was ineffective.
That’s the entire schtick of lawful evil. Manipulation, extortion, background deals, and all that.
I might want to have a sit down and talk with your autocorrect about that first sentence!
Well, this scene from Pick of Destiny is very fitting https://youtu.be/2KAl-b5RfOM?t=80
I mean I’ve been using Linux for over 15 years. Sure, last time I tried having multiple (and uninstalling) multiple DEs on one machine was probably 10 or so years ago, it just left me with a bad taste in my mouth so I stopped doing it.
I’m not too much of a newbie either. My home server is nixos, it’s just not a paradigm I want for my daily use computer :P
I quite like KDE whenever I’ve used it. But I’ve broken so many systems by fucking around a bit too much. So I’m on Pop OS which uses a themed Gnome DE. I keep hearing it’s easy to install different a different DE, but how do you do it safely and still keep compatibility with your distros updates?
Cool. What’s the destination of my phone on the desk?
