I’m surprised that after a master’s degree and a year now of working in a teaching lab that I haven’t seen an example of all of these. But a new term starts in September and I’m holding out hope!

To be fair, this is a shit post.

I had an experiment to test a hypothesis that our target molecule was causing maturation in cancerous blast cells. Long story short I was in charge of culturing a few dozen different testing conditions, commandeered an entire incubator for a month, spent 4 hours in the morning and 4 in the afternoon changing the media, and it all proved that; no, the hypothesis wasn’t correct.
And my God had I wished I didn’t need to wait for trypsin.
Good times.
I’ve been using Floorp for a couple of months now. It’s been fine. It’s another Firefox fork. And IronFox on my phone.
The paper includes images of the patient and specified it was bilateral.
The pride event I can think of here in Vancouver falls in August anyway so I don’t think this would even be a big deal. Plus I learned a bit about Canadian history having just moved here. Thanks!

I was going home from work and about to take the escalator down when the staff told us the station was closed and casually said there was a bomb. It’s always something at that station.
I have not yet encountered a Canadian who says “zi” the way I do. I’ve worked at schools here with ages from 12 to 22 and all of the students have said “zed” as well as every teacher and co-workers I’ve had.
