Was there any more clarification on whether this instance would “defederate” from Meta? I remember reading about it ~5 months ago and posting a general query. IIRC the response was “we’ll cross that bridge if/when we get to it”.

Seems like alot of people agree with your take. Despite its flaws, viewers found it and the sequel entertaining. I can’t see it working as a novel though.

Agree, and his purpose is to introduce us to the alien world. Him becoming a leader is one aspect that didnt sit right with me. He didn’t earn enough goodwill to do that. Its just trust the superior humanoid, because he did something my great grandfather did.

I started with DISCO, then PIC, then SNW. I don’t think there’s any particular reason I haven’t watched TAS, Lower Decks or Prodigy🤔

I havent watched much TNG only " the best of both worlds" and “chain of command” as they were in the picard tv & movie collection. If you have any episodes of TNG to recommend please let me know

Being somewhat new to trek, I bought the Picard movie & tv collection box set prior to season 1 airing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Might be a good time to revisit these + picard series😊
