I was, but the thread got sidetracked into 365.
As far as I know LibreOffice doesn’t have an online version.
Wills Vegan Shoes (London based) are usually made in Portugal or Italy.
Sad that picture doesn’t include UK - like it used to.
And will do again, if we get a grip.
No - it had the features Office 365 didn’t.
Ah, it’ll be the same Wythenshawe Excel then. I format and print my wife’s work rota each week. It’s prepared in Excel quite terribly.
The Web version didn’t have half the formatting commands the ‘real’ version had.
Libre Office had them 😉
Was that the web version? The last time I used Word it was the full all singing all dancing version. That was a while ago. And it was downloaded to my machine. Does it not even do that anymore?
Not bad, I use it regularly but I’m not a power user. It doesn’t have the ten million and one things the other one does, the ones you never use. It’s quite light on resources. Not as intrusive either.

5·5 months agoWorking my way through ‘The Misfits’ series by Simon Brading. Excellent. A steam punk alternative to the Battle of Britain and so on. First of the series is Battle Over Britain ;-)

So possibly twice as long as the first estimate. Bit of a difference there.

3·6 months agoI have no doubt that’s in the pipeline - so many of them are used as taxis that it’d be daft not to.
And they don’t look like something drawn by an 8 year old schoolboy.
Surprised he would have sent congrats though. Old Mango Mussolini likes to keep a grudge. It’s one of the things that keep him going.

Could you explain this bit please? I’m at a loss to see how this involves my cat.
Edit, I have some cast iron, but my wife can’t lift it. And NGL as I age it’s getting a bit heavier for me and I can see a point where I’ll not be too happy lugging it from cupboard to stove.
I think carbon steel may come to my rescue there - just cannot afford it at the moment. My Christmas list is stuck between a pressure washer and a carbon steel pan that was mentioned on here a short while ago. A German brand.
