I played the Atari version, which was actually properly licensed through Paramount. Great game, still fun (can be played via emulator). Coincidentally, I recently started an attempt at recreating it in Python, after decades of good intentions.

The Civ 2 advisors were by far my favorite. I would pay extra for a mod that lets me replace all the dull built-in 3d graphics advisors with Eagle Team advisors.
