2 days agoIt’s easier to use. Besides Matrix e2ee is opt-out, and lots of public room disabled that.

Created an account on Stoat and Matrix. So far I prefer Stoat as it’s easier and more intuitive to use.
Opt-in approach is fine. With this implementation we can effectively ignore those crying about performance without disclosing their spec. We don’t really lose anything.
