Just answered this question during a checkup a few weeks ago and kind of chuckled while saying no. This didn’t seem to raise any flags so it must be a common reaction.

I’m not interested in being friends with or fucking artificial intelligence. I use it to help me solve problems and that’s going to remain the extent of my relationship with it.
Confusing since they have an entire team in Canada that specializes in ports and it’s never been easier considering the Sony and MS consoles are both x86 now.
I’m still holding out hope for a proper Steam Controller 2 with Deck control parity.
I got 86’d from this place in my twenties for getting a handjob. Psh. She offered. I like to think that maybe the young lady lost her job and that handjob is the reason she went back to school.
Congrats, Canada! Don’t ever let this brain disease that has destroyed our country overtake you.
$10 is a steal for this game. A couple friends and I went in blind and were having a riot a few hours in. “Lethal Company but fun.”
Yes, clay for curly hair! My stylist introduced me to that and now I realize it’s half the battle. L’Oréal shit I use is expensive at $23, but it lasts awhile and the results lead to regular compliments.
The main draw of Switch 2 is Nintendo software. That’s about the end of the discussion for me that makes me need one. Nintendo has always made my favorite games since I started playing in 1988. They still make many of my favorite games today.
I was mad at the pricing at first but then I put it in perspective. I really only buy 3-4 retail games per year on the Switch, and at $10-20 more each, that’s $30-80 more per year at most. Not a happy thing but it is what it is. That’s literally one night out with friends having drinks and food.
Still going to love my Steam Deck and still going to play plenty of games on it too… likely more than Switch 2 because of Steam deals and the fact that I trust Valve more with my digital library than Nintendo honestly. They’ve never let me down whereas Nintendo has.
If the Coens returned to do a sequel, I would trust they have a good reason and be excited… but I think it’s like Bridges says. Not gonna happen. That’s perfectly good with me.
So like… this is definitely an incest couple right? That’s a brother and sister for sure.
I had requested a week off of work because I was miserable and about to quit. Was watching the governor of my state speak on tv with my family, and knew what was going to happen based on what was happening everywhere else. Look, the pandemic was clearly awful and the consequences have screwed up the world even more than it was already screwed up… but in that moment learning that I’d never have to go back to that job and I was about to get $1000/week to sit home, spend time with family, cook, relax, play games and watch movies? Oh, it was the best times of my adult life. So this is how the rich get to live? Turns out I’m not depressed. I just hate being a slave.
“Oh shit. They killed the prophet. Now what?”
“We’ll say he came back to life!”
“Brilliant! But… uhh… then what do we say when people ask where he is?”
“Ohhhh. Uhhhh… he came back to life, but then he like ascended to heaven. Couldn’t stick around. Sorry, mate, he isn’t here.”
“Well, they’ve believed all of this other stupid shit up until this point, so let’s give it a try.”
It’s a slight buzz. People are substantially more dangerous when they are sleep deprived but no laws or severe punishments for that because the system needs its slaves to get to work whether they’ve rested well or not.
One of the issues I have with the new open-world style Zelda games is that they don’t have replay value. After finishing each once (which takes a lot of time), I can’t actually imagine wanting to go back and play them again. So yeah, Nintendo can charge what they want and it isn’t very appealing regardless. Increased resolution isn’t going to change the experience.
VR is indeed a thing that keeps me chained to Windows for now. I spend a lot of time in Visual Pinball VR especially! But it’s not the biggest problem having a dual boot situation and only using Windows for games. Perhaps one day even VR will be doable in Linux and I can abandon Windows entirely. For now, it looks like my gaming sessions are going to be spied on so I better aim to impress. Heh.
Yeah, agreed. Everybody likes to say “there’s no excuse when you can Uber!” but in a real world situation that requires an expensive ride home and then an expensive ride back to your car the next day while worrying if it’s okay in the parking lot. Not actually very practical when you’re just having a reasonable amount of drinks and not getting shit-faced. So I hang around where I’m at after my last beer until I know I’m safe and just hope I’m not slightly over that silly .08.
It’s a personal decision. Some of us enjoy the flavor and the social enhancements after having a few. I agree fuck people who drive really drunk but I don’t consider a few beers to be that. In fact, I know that a few beers doesn’t make me drunk or mess up my motor skills any. I’m significantly more dangerous when I am sleep deprived but that isn’t illegal. Heh.
Lines are fine. The punishments are too severe at this line though.
Dear God, there’s people who would legitimately rather have a big disgusting worm in their gut than diet and move around a bit?
